The earlier day had seen a decrease in the homegrown gold costs in Pakistan, reflecting the drop seen in the worldwide market.

On Friday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 6,500 to Rs 230,800, down from Rs 237,300 the previous day.

The cost of gold has dramatically increased in Pakistan, with 24-carat gold now costing Rs. 221,000 per tola, an increase of Rs. 1,500.
