Pakistan Railways will begin giving a 20% discount on the Shalimar train service on May 1st, which is Labour Day.
According to a statement from Pakistan Railways, a 20% discount will be offered on Shalimar Express tickets from May 1 through May 15.
For all Shalimar Express Coaches, this discount is available. Additionally, according to Pakistan Railways' announcement, a 10% discount is available on tickets for travel from May 16 to May 31.
Beginning on May 1st, the Shalimar Express will resume running between Lahore and Karachi through Sahiwal rather than Faisalabad, according to a statement from the Railway Department.
The Mughalpura Workshop has renovated 19 high-speed train carriages to upgrade its amenities.
