Board of Secondary Education Karachi Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah requested that the concerned personnel charge Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code surrounding the examination centres during the matric exams in an effort to prevent unfair methods.
The SSC Part I and II yearly test is scheduled to begin on May 8th, 2023.
The board was asked to outsource the files, but Shah claimed in a news conference that the idea was impractical for the organisation.
He asserted that the board had instructed K-Electric to keep the city's electricity flowing nonstop throughout the exam period.
The tests for the science group will occur in the morning, according to the BSEK chairman. General exams will also be held in the evening at the same time.
The BSEK chairman begged for more than 0.39 million candidates to show up for the exams this year.
He claimed that 524 testing locations had been chosen to make things easier for the applicants. According to him, there are 245 centres set up for female candidates.
He said that 97 monitoring teams had been established to monitor, visit, and make examination centres transparent.
Shah argued that 19 hubs had been established in various locations where the exam papers would be interesting to centres throughout the city.
He continued by saying that up to 79 prisoners would also take the exam from behind bars.
