Atlas Honda has surprised the market by launching its first electric scooter Honda BENLY e in Pakistan.
The company introduced the two-wheeler at an event in Sheikhupura, marking a major breakthrough in the electric car market.
Positioned as a symbol of innovation and sustainability, the scooter represents a departure from traditional gasoline-powered bicycles.
Atlas Honda was the first motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan to introduce an electric scooter, followed by Yadiya, Metro and Road among others.
Prins, has already entered the market for electric scooters.
The move by Atlas Honda is in line with the growing demand for more affordable and cost-effective alternatives amid high petrol prices.
The Honda BENLY e has a range of 87 km, a charging time of 180 minutes and a top speed of 45 km/h. However, the company did not provide specific details for the same.
