Currently, a major cyclone with the name of BiparJoy has developed in the Arabian Sea and is roughly 350 kilometres away from Karachi.
It is anticipated that it would go via Gujarat State in India and Keti Bandar in Pakistan.The cyclone is moving swiftly and violently towards both nations' coastlines. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), it is now 360 kilometres southwest of Thatta and 300 km from Keti Bandar.
It is anticipated to travel northeast tomorrow afternoon in the direction of Indian Gujarat and Keti Bandar.Concerns about the hazardous sea conditions increase as the hurricane approaches the coast. Worries are being raised by gusts of 170 km/h and waves that can reach a height of 30 feet in the storm's centre and flanks.
Strong winds and significant rains might be experienced in Sindh's Tharparkar, Badin, Sajawal, and Thatta districts.The storm's effects are already being felt, and they are becoming worse with time. On the Superhighway, strong gusts have flipped over cars, while Keti Bandar has also witnessed strong winds. People are being moved from coastal regions to safer locations through evacuation efforts. In Badin, residents are working hard to be ready for the storm's arrival on the beaches.
