A big earthquake in Pakistan is expected within the next 48 hours, according to a Dutch organisation called Solar System Geometry Survey (SSGEOS). A Dutch researcher who works with SSGEOS has a track record of predicting earthquakes, including the one that struck Turkey this year and regrettably claimed over 47,000 lives.
In this most recent forecast, the scientist detected a noticeable rise in electrical activity along Pakistan's Chaman fault lines, increasing fears about the impending possibility of a strong earthquake.
In their research, they identified alterations in the atmosphere's electric charge, notably in the area bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan, which may soon experience powerful tremors. It's crucial to realise that these areas are simply rough estimates, and that there isn't yet a viable method for determining the precise site of an earthquake.
The Chaman fault system, a key fault line in Pakistan, has previously been the site of large earthquakes. For instance, this area saw a strong earthquake in May 1935 that claimed numerous lives.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has not commented on these earthquake predictions and rumours in spite of these worries. The PMD has previously rejected such assertions, contending that there isn't enough data to make accurate earthquake predictions.
