Pakistan's pink Himalayan salt has piqued the interest of the United States, with a notable American import company, Miracle Saltworks Collective Inc., investing $200 million in its import. Masood Khan, Pakistan's ambassador, was notified of the company's interest in investing in the processing and packaging of pink salt. According to the Washington press statement, the investment will be used to upgrade mining methods, increase feasibility, expand processing, and develop the best packaging.
The corporation also estimated a $12 billion annual profit due to huge pink salt reserves. The corporation also informed the leadership that Pakistan possesses 22.22 billion dollars in natural resources.
Masood Khan praised the MSCI's interest in promoting and investing in Pakistan's pink salt sector. He emphasised that Pakistan will support international firms in any manner possible and emphasised Pakistan's abundant pink salt resources in different locations of the country, which may guarantee lucrative investment.
Masood Khan also informed MSCI that he would support them in the implementation and facilitation of their plans in Pakistan. This is an opportunity for the country to promote natural resources and revitalise its economy.
