'Blue Roads' Are Introduced in Lahore to Fight Pollution
The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority used the "Blue Road" idea in Lahore, the provincial capital, to reduce air pollution.

The "Blue Road" concept was put into practice in Lahore, the provincial capital, by the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority to lessen air pollution. According to a CBD spokesperson, blue asphalt will be utilised in road construction and is now used in the ongoing renovation of the Kalma Chowk Underpass.

He claims that Qatar is where the concept was first conceived with the aim of modernising the city's basic infrastructure and enhancing the standard of living for its citizens. According to the official, the idea won't just make the road seem better; it will also make it heat-absorbing. He added that it would help lower air pollution in the city.

The CBD CEO affirmed that he was supervising the road's construction and promised to complete the undertaking by the date specified by Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
