The wife of the civil judge was taken into custody after the bail request for the defendants in the Rizwana torture case was denied. The defence attorney outlined how Somia Asim helped a young child who had been waiting at a bus stop for more than two hours return to her mother.
The defence attorney for the defendant claimed that a three-hour video of the young child waiting for a bus was available and asked the court to obtain it as proof. The investigating officer was given a directive by the court to obtain the footage for review.
