A day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was arrested, the party's Secretary General Asad Umar was detained on the premises of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), according to Geo News.
The PTI leader was apprehended by the Islamabad police Anti-Terrorist Squad.
Umar was apprehended outside the IHC Bar Association's office, where they were preparing a plea for the IHC. He was requesting a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The PTI lawyers attempted to oppose the arrest, but Umar was apprehended.
