Maulana Muhammad Atalas Khan, a religious scholar, was killed in a shooting inside a mosque in Peshawar's Budh Bair neighbourhood.

According to police, Maulana Muhammad Atalas Khan was fatally shot inside the Budh Bair mosque. They are looking into all aspects of the incident and promise that the perpetrator will be apprehended soon.

This is the second incident in the last two days in Peshawar's Budh Bair neighbourhood, where an unidentified man opened fire, killing a religious scholar, Mufti Ehsanul Haq.
