On the occasion of "Youm-e-Takreen Shuada-e-Pakistan," General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), met with the school-age children of martyrs to pay tribute to the nation's honorary martyrs. The function was held in Rawalpindi, the military general headquarters of Pakistan.
The general spoke to the pupils, telling them that because they were born to Pakistan's sacrifices, their relationship with the army was honourable and would endure. The COAS declared, "Pakistan Army will stand united with you."
He further mentioned that the whole nation is celebrating Youm-e-Takreen Shuhada-e-Pakistan on 25th May to ay homage to the brave souls who sacrificed their lives to protect Pakistan.
The event was attended by the major army personnel including Chief of Army Staff, Gen Asim Munir, Former COAS, Qamar Javed Bajwa, previous Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff committee General, Nadeem Raza, Babar Azam, families of martyrs, Mufti Muneeb, students, and law enforcement officials.
