The Eid ul Adha festivities are scheduled to take place from June 29 to July 1, 2023. The only holidays that will be observed in six-day workweek offices will be on June 29 and 30, 2023. In a notification sent out on Tuesday, this information was disclosed.
In accordance with Cabinet Division Circular No. 10-02/2022-Min-II, dated December 23, 2022, the Prime Minister gave his approval for the public holidays. The holidays for workplaces with a five-day workweek will be on June 29 and 30, 2023 (Thursday and Friday). The holidays will be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from June 29 to July 1, 2023, for workplaces with a six-day workweek.
The Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad, declared on Monday evening that Eid ul Adha would be celebrated on June 29 after seeing the Crescent of Zil Hajj 1444 AH.
