Saim Ayub is a young rising star in Pakistani cricket who is attracting notice from some of the finest names in the game.
Veteran Pakistani top-order batsman Fakhar Zaman has commended the young cricketer and compared him to the team's current captain, Babar Azam.
Fakhar Zaman commented on Saim Ayub's skills, saying, "I think after Babar Azam, we have got such a player in the form of Saim Ayub." He continued by expressing his admiration for the young player's skill and promise and his conviction that he had a promising future in international cricket.
After losing the seasoned team of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for only 30 runs, Fakhar and Saim revived Pakistan's batting with a 79-run third-wicket stand.
If Saim Ayub continues to play well, he may soon join the ODI and Test settings. Saim Ayub is undoubtedly in the PCB's plans for an extended stay with the international team.
