Pakistan Tops The World Rankings For Diabetes
Pakistan has the highest rate of diabetes prevalence in the world, claims a World of Statistics research.

According to a report by World of Statistics, an organisation funded by the Georgia State University Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Pakistan has the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world.

The study examined data from 38 countries and found that Pakistan had a prevalence rate of diabetes of 30.8%. With a diabetes incidence of 24.9%, Kuwait came in second, followed by Egypt at 20.9%.

Health professionals from all around the world stress the value of regular exercise in avoiding and treating conditions like diabetes. Unfortunately, Pakistan, the fifth-most populated nation, also sees a high rate of early deaths among people under 60 from chronic medical issues.

Alarmingly, almost a quarter of Pakistan's adult diabetics go untreated, underscoring the need for further funding and initiatives to address this problem.

However, according to statistics, Nigeria has the lowest frequency of diabetes patients, with a rate of just 3.6%.
