The Junior Professional Associates Programme (JAP) of the World Bank strives to empower youth by providing them with access to entry-level employment opportunities. Through the World Bank Junior Professional Associates (JAP) program, young professionals gain exceptional exposure to novel and contemporary concerns of the modern world related to development.
In this global Junior Professional Associates project, the junior graduates and professionals may use their qualitative and analytical abilities and technical competence while collaborating with the more experienced and senior team members. The World Bank's JAP 2023–24 also provides a foundation for career opportunities in the public and private sectors, as well as in education, business, and other professions associated with development.
The WB JPA 2023–24 is a two-year course for entry-level professionals. Those selected do not automatically obtain a lifelong career with the World Bank because the initiative cannot be extended. This compensated abroad chance there, however, may open up new employment prospects if one applies for World Bank posts once the two-year course is finished. Notably, the young associates are forced to leave the World Bank after completing the two-year entry-level program. The opportunity is present in every World Bank office worldwide. Things like gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or color are not prerequisites. People with disabilities are not discriminated against in this initiative and are given additional benefits.

Eligibility:
- International graduates from all countries and areas are welcome to apply.
- Applicants require a bachelor's degree or a degree of equal standing.
- The applicant must be at least 28 on the first day of employment.
- The applicant must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
- The ability to speak more than one of the official languages of the WB—Arabic, French, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish—is useful.
- The JAPs are qualified for reappointment after a two-year "Cooling Off" term. Due to the cooling-off period, the JPA must leave the World Bank after the two-year program completion term. After that, they may only reapply.
- Employees who are on ETC at the moment are ineligible.

- On the World Bank's job website, there is an online application.
- Carefully enter all the required information.
- After six months, the application is still active in the database.
- A new application must be submitted if the candidate desires to reapply after six months.
- The hiring supervisors employ coworkers using the information in their database.
- Accept all WB policies before applying.
