Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Pakistan, has addressed recent claims that he prioritized personal success over team achievement.
Pakistan's wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has responded to recent allegations that he was placing personal accomplishments ahead of the team's performance.
Rizwan rejected the idea, claiming that his only attention is on carrying out the captain's plan to the best of his ability. Prior to the third One-Day International against New Zealand on May 3, Rizwan stated, "For me, personal milestones don't matter."
He continued by saying that while everyone has a right to their own ideas, the squad simply concentrates on playing in accordance with the established strategy and putting in their best effort. After Pakistan's loss against New Zealand in the final T20I encounter on April 24 in Rawalpindi, Rizwan came under fire.
