The former finance minister declared during a meeting with the Council of Economic and Energy Journalists that he would support Shahid Khaqan Abbasi if he left the PML-N and joined another party.
Miftah Ismail warned that if the IMF does not come by October or November, the chances of default will increase greatly.
He said that no offer has been made in the caretaker setup, only speculations are being made, the Muslim League was first stopped for talking about the government’s performance, but now there is silence on it.
