Pakistan's Interior Minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, has proposed a plan to create a market in the nation's capital, Islamabad, that will be entirely for women. By giving them the chance to start their own businesses and support the national economy, this initiative aims to empower women.
The minister declared that the essential resources for female businesses would be accessible by October 30 during a meeting with the Islamabad Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI). He emphasised the value of women participating in economic activity and urged them to do so in all facets of life.
A new university for women would soon be established in Rawalpindi, according to the minister, who also announced these intentions while spotlighting the inspirational accomplishments of a young person who passed competitive exams despite hailing from a lowly family. This emphasises how important education is for women.
