The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated a probe into multiple charges levelled against former federal minister Murad Saeed. The NAB has requested records from the secretary of local government, the livestock department, and the irrigation department.
NAB officials have stated in letters to numerous ministries that there are accusations against Murad Saeed, including bribery, fraudulent appointments, and other allegations. The NAB has requested information on the alleged illegal appointments from the relevant authorities.
Murad Saeed allegedly purchased the home with money through frontmen Hameed and Fazal Mollah, according to the letter's text. He also asked the Secretary Irrigation for details on alleged corruption in the Bagh Dairy Swat Irrigation Channel. Bagh Dairy Project Estimates, Released Funds, and Project Estimates were all requested.
Swat police, on the other side, are raiding the homes of PTI leaders. Murad Saeed's, former Chief Minister Mahmood Khan's, and other workers' homes were raided, although Murad Saeed and Mehmood Khan were not there. Mehmood Khan's brother was apprehended at his home.
