These 3 New Shortcuts Will Be Available on WhatsApp
Three new shortcuts will be added to WhatsApp's settings page, the popular instant messaging app that Meta owns, per a tip from WABetainfo. Users should have a better experience accessing the app's settings with the upcoming update. Three new features will be incorporated with the updated UI: the profile, privacy, and contacts shortcuts.

According to a tip from WABetainfo, three new shortcuts will be added to the settings page of WhatsApp, the well-known instant messaging service owned by Meta. With the future update, users should have a better experience accessing the app's settings. The profile, privacy, and contacts shortcuts will be three new additions to the revised UI.

The starred message shortcut, which is already present in WhatsApp for iOS, will be one of the new shortcuts. For easy access, WhatsApp intends to include this shortcut in the app settings. A new shortcut to the app settings will also be added to the chat list.

Users will be able to test out the new interface and features of the app settings once they are enabled in a later version. The goal of this settings organisation is to make options more accessible and user-friendly.

WhatsApp is developing a username feature in addition to a new settings page. Users will be able to select distinctive usernames for their accounts using this functionality, adding an added layer of secrecy. Users will have the choice to choose a distinctive username in place of only using phone numbers to identify contacts. Users may be able to connect privately with companies or other users thanks to this username function without sharing their phone numbers.

The fact that certain functionalities are still being developed and are not yet accessible to users should be noted. They do, however, have the potential to improve the WhatsApp experience by providing better settings navigation and more privacy options via distinctive usernames.
