ISLAMABAD: YouTube has made its premium service available to customers in Pakistan, enabling them to watch videos without ads, stream offline, and continue playing after leaving the app.
YouTube debuted its YouTube Premium and YouTube Music services on Wednesday, according to the English-language newspaper Arab News, which is based in the Gulf.
It should be emphasised that, like the rest of the globe, YouTube is one of the most widely used digital platforms in Pakistan.
There are 400 Pakistani YouTube channels with more than 1 million subscribers, according to the website. The two services, YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Pay, are membership services, meaning users must pay to use them before getting access to ad-free content and other perks.
According to YouTube, users who sign up for the YouTube Premium Keypad membership will be able to watch videos without advertisements, download them to their computers, and play them in the background. It has been reported in this context that YouTube Music is a new music streaming software that will provide Pakistani music fans a novel musical experience.
Users in Pakistan can purchase YouTube Music for Rs 299 ($1.05) and YouTube Premium for Rs 479 ($1.68).
