The left-handed opener completed the feat in his 67th innings, breaking his skipper Babar Azam's previous record of 68 innings.
Fakhar is now the second-fastest batter to achieve the 3000-run mark, having tied Shai Hope's record of 3000 runs in the same number of innings.
